Ford mustang engine chip?
hi, I have a 2009 ford mustang GT and today my uncle was telling me about how there is some chip you can buy in canada and in changes the ratio or something like that and allows the car to have a higher top speed. can someone please tell me what this is called and what’s the deal with it? thanks !
Do not listen to the first poster. The second poster, however, is right. You can not physically change the top speed without changing the gearing in the car(whether it is the final drive gear in the trans. or the gear ratio in the differential). You can, however, buy a tuner, like I suggested in my answer to your other question and remove the electronically governed top speed. These tuners can be found here:
